Campbell Ewald, which is part of the three-agency group that won the Cadillac brand's creative advertising account last month, is being renamed Lowe Campbell Ewald.
Parent Interpublic Group of Cos. says the change signifies that the Detroit-area agency is now the U.S. hub for London-based Lowe and Partners Worldwide, its partner on the Cadillac account. The advertising holding company also owns Lowe and Hill Holiday, the third member of that team.
Separately, IPG named Jim Palmer, who spearheaded the Cadillac pitch, as CEO of Lowe Campbell Ewald, effective immediately. He replaces Bill Ludwig, who is leaving the agency after 31 years.
Kathleen Donald, who has been the agency's president, succeeds Palmer as chief client officer.
