Honda Motor Co. says it is recalling 31,200 small cars in India to replace a brake system component that may be faulty.
The campaign involves 2013-2014 model Amaze small cars and Brio hatchbacks made between February 2013 and January 2014. Only models that are not equipped with antilock braking systems are affected.
Honda says the proportioning valve, which balances brake pressure between the front and rear wheels, may not have been assembled correctly.
