Brabus GmbH, the German high-performance Mercedes-Benz tuner, will produce a special version of Daimler AG's top-of-the-line S-Class Pullman limousine, Automobilwoche reports.

The Pullman, expected to be priced at about $1 million, was inspired by the enormous 600 Pullman limo built by Mercedes 50 years ago. The new model, which will measure 21 feet long, is being described as the longest production passenger car on the market.

The Pullman's standard features include armor, a glass partition behind the front seats and two rear rows of seats that face each other.

Automobilwoche offers no details about the Brabus version. But the customizer is known for making exterior and interior modifications and equipping Mercedes models with special wheels, modified suspensions and more powerful engines. Neither Brabus nor Daimler has commented on the newspaper's report.

An unnamed source tells Bloomberg News that Daimler will introduce a production version of the Pullman in November at auto shows in Los Angeles and Guangzhou, China.
