Bosch: No Growth in Car Production Until 2025

Robert Bosch GmbH expects no expansion in global car production until 2025.

CEO Volkmar Denner tells Automobilwoche that Bosch also is prepared for a 5% downturn in worldwide output this year, led by slumping sales in China and India.

Denner attributes the stagnation to uncertainty about global trade and the impact of industrywide electrification and autonomous-driving technology, which he says are prompting many consumers to delay new-car purchases.
