BorgWarner Inc.'s fourth-quarter net income last year grew to $141 million from $121 million in 2012.

Revenue rose 10% to nearly $1.9 billion for the maker of turbochargers and other powertrain systems. Operating income for the period climbed 10% to $188 million, including the negative effect of $52 million in restructuring costs.

For the full year, BorgWarner posted record sales of $7.4 billion, up almost 4%. Operating income of $855 million compared with $753 million in 2012.

The company expects organic sales growth of 7%-11% and an operating income margin of at least 12.5% this year. The forecast excludes BorgWarner's pending acquisition of Gustav Wahler GmbH, a German supplier of engine components to such companies as BMW, Daimler, General Motors and John Deere.
