Operating income in April-June climbed 14% to $296 million for the Auburn Hills, Mich.-based supplier of turbochargers and other engine and drivetrain components.
BorgWarner raised its sales and earnings estimates for the full year. The company now expects revenue to grow 13%-15% compared with its previous guidance of 12%-15%. It projects an operating income to equal 13% of sales, up from 12.5% predicted previously.
