BMW AG intends to open a technical center in Tel Aviv this summer to work with software companies, startups and universities in Israel.

A small team of BMW researchers at the facility will work with potential partners to identify and develop new technologies. The focus will be on autonomous, connectivity and cybersecurity.

BMW operates more than 20 research and development facilities worldwide. The Tel Aviv office will join existing tech centers in China, Germany, Japan, South Korea and the U.S.
