Sales of BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce vehicles climbed 3% in May to 210,600 units.
BMW AG says its sales of BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce vehicles climbed 3% in May to 210,600 units.
Gains were led by demand for BMW brand (+5% to 181,900 units) and the group’s electrified cars (+2% to 11,200). Combined sales for January-May rose 1% to 1.01 million vehicles, led by a 30% surge in deliveries of X Series crossover vehicles.
BMW says it has now sold 406,800 electric and hybrid vehicles since the all-electric i3 city car went on sale at the end of 2013.
