BMW AG is the latest carmaker to announce price cuts on replacement parts in response to China's sweeping anti-trust investigation.
BMW says it will lower prices an average 20% on more than 2,000 imported components sold in China, beginning Aug. 11. The company's dealers also will set up more outlets to sell BMW parts to independent repair shops.
The price concessions come as China's National Development and Reform Commission prepares to announce actions to punish price gouging against Audi, Chrysler and several Japanese part suppliers.
