The supervisory board of Volkswagen AG’s Audi unit will decide Monday to replace four members of the company’s management board, sources tell Reuters.
The supervisory board will name successors for Audi’s human resources chief Thomas Sigi, financial head Axel Strotbek, sales boss Dietmar Voggenreiter and production chief Hubert Walt, according to Reuters.
The shakeup has been prompted by Audi’s deepening diesel emission cheating crisis. Sources tell Reuters that CEO Rupert Stadler, who has been strongly criticized for his handling of the scandal, will keep his job.
The news service reported the impending management shuffle earlier this week, indicating the restructuring would be made in mid-September.
