Ryan Graves, senior vice president of global operations for Uber Technologies Inc., says he will exit his job in mid-September but remain on the Uber board, the Associated Press reports.

AP says Graves was Uber’s first hire. He also served as the first CEO of the San Francisco-based ride-hailing service.

He joins more than a dozen senior managers who have left the company since January amid multiple legal and employee-related crises. Other departures include the company’s CEO, president and heads of autonomous vehicle development, communications, engineering, finance and production.
