Alfa Romeo’s U.S. Debut Is Back On

Fiat SpA will reintroduce its Alfa Romeo brand in the U.S. this year after all, according to CEO Sergio Marchionne. He says the marque will debut its 4C sport coupe in the U.S. by year-end.
A week ago Marchionne told reporters Alfa would delay its American re-entry until it had a fresher model. Marchionne did not explain the sudden reversal.
Fiat originally planned to introduce the 4C last year, then delayed the debut until this summer.
Alfa left the American market in 1994. It has sold a handful of $240,000 8C Competizione supercars in the U.S. since 2008.
