Alabama Dealer To Chair NADA Next Year

The National Automobile Dealers Assn. has chosen Forrest McConnell, a Honda-Acura dealer in Montgomery, Ala., to chair the trade group in 2014.

McConnell has been a member of the NADA board since 2008. He is the second Alabama dealer to head NADA since the group was founded in 1917.

The group also named William Fox, an 11-brand dealer in upstate New York, to succeed McConnell as vice chairman. Fox is in line to become NADA's chairman in 2015.
