General Motors Co. says 85% of its 1,900 Chevrolet-Opel dealers in Europe have transitioned to selling only the German brand.

GM announced last year it would phase out Chevrolet in Europe by the end of 2015. Chevy was positioned below Opel as an entry-level brand, a segment Opel hopes to capture by adding its own lower-priced models.
Michael Lohscheller, Opel's chief financial officer, says the unit remains "fully on track" to become profitable by mid-decade in spite of Russia's shrinking car market.
