2018 Subaru Crosstrek to Get Geneva Reveal

Fuji Heavy Industries Inc. will introduce the next-generation Subaru Crosstrek crossover vehicle at the Geneva auto show in March.

The 2018 model will ride on Subaru’s new global platform that also carries the all-new Impreza sedan/hatchback. A teaser image of the upcoming Crosstrek, which is called the XV in Europe, shows a more sculpted shape than the current model.

The Crosstrek/XV is expected to share much of the Impreza’s mechanical equipment, including a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 152 hp and 145 lb-ft of torque. Subaru's symmetrical all-wheel drive system will be standard with a choice of a manual or a continuously variable transmission.
