Styling changes are expected to be relatively minor, mirroring the facelift of the S-Class sedan that bows this summer in Europe. Engine choices will be highlighted by a twin-turbo 4.0-lter V-8 that makes 462 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque.
Tech upgrades include more sophisticated camera and radar sensors that improve the car’s automated driving features. The new S-Class also is adding the vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication and remote-controlled parking systems that Mercedes launched last year on the E-Class sedan.
