This year’s 10 Best Interiors list selected by WardsAuto includes a wide range of vehicles, spanning from Hyundai’s all-new Kona tiny crossover model to Porsche’s ultra-luxury Panamera sedan.

Other winners include the Kia Stinger fastback, Toyota Camry family car, Lexus LS premium sedan, Lincoln Navigator SUV and Ram 1500 fullsize pickup truck. Rounding out the top 10 are three crossover vehicles: the Chevrolet Equinox, Infiniti QX50 and Range Rover Velar (pictured).

No brand had more than one entry on the list. WardsAuto evaluated 40 nominated interiors that were all-new or significantly improved from the prior year.

The winners were praised for their style, comfort, amenities, technology, features and flexibility. Wards also notes that interiors are making greater use of flashy colors and high-end materials.

When Honda announced the first-generation Ridgeline in 2005, it opened the press release describing the vehicle: “The Honda Ridgeline re-defines what a truck can be with its true half-ton bed payload capability, an interior similar to a full-size truck and the exterior length of a compact truck.” And all that said, people simply couldn’t get over the way there is a diagonal piece, a sail-shaped buttress, between the cab and the box.
