Presenter 1:

Jeff Cross

Principal Director, Defense Programs - Toray Composite Materials America, Inc.

Jeff has over 35 years’ experience in aerospace composite manufacturing and materials processing. Starting his career with Bell Helicopter, he focused on innovative tooling and manufacturing processes required for composite fabrication. From there, he joined Rockwell International, working on various DoD prototype projects, then joined Ciba Geigy as an application engineer before transitioning into a technical sales role. In his current role as Principal Director for Defense Programs at Toray, he drives long-term growth for the company in aerospace and defense applications.

Jeff has a B.S in Aerospace Technology from Purdue University.

Presenter 2:

Alastair McKee, P.Eng.

Engineering Lead, Analysis Applications - Convergent Manufacturing Technologies

Alastair is a Professional Engineer with over 15 years of experience in advanced composites manufacturing, process simulation, technical sales and product management. At Convergent Manufacturing Technologies, he leads the Analysis Applications group, supports technical sales initiatives and serves as product manager for the RAVEN and CIRT software platforms. He works with aerospace, defense and renewable energy organizations to reduce manufacturing risk and improve technical decision-making through simulation-driven engineering. His technical background includes hands-on experience in composites processing, cure modeling, thermoplastic composites and materials characterization.

Roudy Wehbe, PhD

Senior Engineer, Technical Services - Toray Composite Materials America, Inc.

Roudy has over 10 years of experience in automated composites manufacturing R&D. He obtained his PhD in Mechanical Engineering while working on various Automated Fiber Placement research topics. In his current role at Toray Composite Materials America Inc., he works with various customers to solve current issues, research solutions for future needs, and support developments of next generation thermoset prepreg and its application in automated manufacturing setup.
