Square One: Bringing STEM to K-12 Students
Encouraging students to become tomorrow’s mobility technologists
#workforcedevelopment
Square One Education Network has been getting teachers and K-12 student excited about mobility technologies for 25 years, says Executive Director Barb Land.
The Michigan-based nonprofit reaches some 12,000 students and 500 teachers in the state each year, helping them with everything from classroom tech projects to hands-on construction of electric vehicles and underwater robots.
Land notes that Square One’s new Masters of Mobility program enables students to look at how future vehicles will communicate with each other and the infrastructure.
