Event Coordinator

About this Role

Gardner manages an annual portfolio of 10-12 events including tradeshows, conferences, symposiums, executive dinners and corporate receptions. The Event Coordinator will work on multiple events, across multiple industries, so this candidate must be able to multi-task and have excellent communication skills. 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to

  • Coordination and collection of speaker material before, during and after the event
  • Ongoing event communication with speakers
  • Coordination of vendors for events including: audio visual, catering, contractors, security
  • Registration management
  • Website management
  • Contract and data entry
  • Sponsorship and/or Exhibit Management
  • Assisting with on-site logistics
  • Administrative tasks

Event Coordinator Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Detail oriented
  • Works well collaboratively
  • Must be willing to travel as required
