Use of the same color on additional pages in the same issue is charged at one-half of the above rates. (For example, the charge for four color in a second ad in the same issue is $550.)

Borders
1/3, 1/4 and 1/8 page ads must have a border on all sides.

Frequency Enhancement
Advertisers may combine their total number of insertions in PMM and any other of Gardner Publications, Inc.'s
magazines, Web sites and postcard decks over any 12-month period to earn the best frequency discount.

Combination Rates
Advertisers may combine their total number of insertions in Production Machining and any other
Gardner Publications periodicals or Web sites over any 12-month period to earn the
best frequency discount.

—Every $3,000 spent on special electronic products counts as one insertion toward frequency discounts.

Multiple Page Discounts
Substantial discounts are available to advertisers running multiple pages. Consult the publisher or your sales rep for details.

Agency Commission
15% commission is allowed on advertisements if ad material is furnished to our specifications and payment is
received within 30 days of invoice.

—Direct mail lists are not commissionable.

Prepayment Discount
5% discount is allowed if payment for one year's advertising is received in advance of the first insertion.

Materials
Gardner Publications requests that all advertisements and postcards be a PDF file. The PDF file must be saved out at a resolution of 300 dpi.

Mechanical Specifications
Inserts should be furnished completely printed, folded, and ready to insert. 3/16" (5 mm) will be trimmed
from the top, and 1/8" (3 mm) will be trimmed from the side and bottom edges.

Approximately 21,000 inserts are required per issue.

Blue line/Dylux approval by publisher is required before submitted any insert.
